Mike Archer: Mike is a retired television news executive who spent over 40 years working in local television news in Detroit, New York, and Philadelphia. He was also part of a team of journalists that launched Court TV in 1991 that expanded the coverage of the legal system and trials in the United States. Mike writes a blog on journalism, politics, language, and life that can be found at www.thearcherjournal.com.
